About The Faculty
The Faculty of Health Sciences at Aden International University, established in 2016, is committed to excellence in health education, research, and service. Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding necessary to contribute effectively to the healthcare sector. We offer a range of programs designed to prepare students for professional careers in health science disciplines, ensuring they meet both national and international standards.

Departments
Aden Adde International University (AAIU) is a non-profit institution, registered
with the Ministry of Higher Education of Somalia. The conception of AAIU took
place in late 2015 with a group of Somali intellectuals lead by Prof Dr. Osman Aden,
a prominent physician and geneticist who has spent his entire life in the service of his
people. Following a civil war that destroyed the entire existing infrastructure,
education institutions were amongst the greatest casualties of the war. University
students faced multiple challenges including lack of facilities, qualified and
experienced teachers, a lack of learning resources and most importantly
internationally recognized qualification or accreditation
