About The Faculty
The Faculty of Engineering is committed to providing a comprehensive education that prepares students for successful careers in various engineering disciplines. The program consists of a one-year foundation course followed by five years of specialized study, currently offering degrees in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
In the Civil Engineering program, students study the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings. The curriculum covers areas such as structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering, with hands-on projects that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
The foundation year introduces students to essential concepts in mathematics, physics, and basic engineering principles, laying the groundwork for more advanced topics. Following this, students can choose to specialize in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
To provide accessible, quality university education, training, research and innovation that would bring about well rounded accomplished future leaders in the fields of Medicine, optometry, Health Science, Economic and Mgt.
